I just want to say a big thank you for organising a great afternoon for us.
The room was perfect and with the children it was certainly the best idea to put us in the room. It was great having the sofa's and it was just like being in someone's living room.
The staff were great. So friendly and helpful and the chief was terrific. The food was delicious and devoured! It worked very well, big plates on the table which went down very quickly because it was so good - and a great choice of food from the chief as everyone was over Turkey!!!!
So thank you very much we all enjoyed it and really appreciated the effort everyone went to, to make us feel at home - please pass on our thanks to them.
Looking forward to meeting you in the New Year when we wonder down for a drink.

I would just like to repeat the thanks that I gave your wonderful manageress on Sunday 8 March (yesterday). I presume the lady (whose name I didn’t take) is the manageress (blonde hair and used to work in the Builders Arms, Chelsea!). I came to the pub after being really let down by the rival locale, the Prince of Wales. I had 6 guests and two babies- not the easiest collection to seat and yet your manageress excelled in finding us a great place to spend the afternoon and eat.
She was friendly, attentive and a real credit to Youngs and the Duke of Cambridge. As the afternoon got busier and busier she repeatedly ensured we were well catered for and we never felt at any stage in the way or too much of a burden on her and her (excellent) team.
Unbeknownst to me my mother and step-father (visiting from Jersey) had also made their way to Battersea and had also been let down by the PoW. Your manageress managed to find them a spot, catered for their drinks and food and left them exceedingly satisfied guests. In two unrelated incidents your team managed to surpass all our expectations and I genuinely feel this deserves recognition in what must be frantic times. Please pass my warmest thanks to all at the Duke of Cambridge as a result. Collectively we managed to spend over £250.00 on our regular Sunday lunch and we will have no hesitation coming back!
Your manager really made our (and my Mum's!) day!
