1. Frequently Asked Questions

Can I play my own music in the private room?

Yes you can. You can connect your phone/audio device via an auxiliary cord to The Terrarium’s speakers.

Do you have a screen in the room that we can use?

Yes, there is a flat screen TV, which can be connected to via HDMI.

Is the Terrarium fully private/sound proof?

The Terrarium is a fully private room, although not completely sound proof. The Billiard Room is semi private and not sound proof.

Can I bring a DJ for the private room?

Unfortunately due to the size of the Terrarium, and the semi private nature of the Billiard Room, neither are suitable for a DJ.

Can we bring a cake?

Yes, absolutely! Just let us know ahead of time.

Can we decorate the space?

Feel free to decorate the space with banners/bunting/balloons etc. We just ask that you take these down at the end of the night, and avoid glitter/confetti.

Is there parking?

No, there is no free parking at the Duke of Cambridge. You may be able to find very limited paid on street parking further down Banbury Street, or the surrounding area, but we are just a short walk from Clapham Junction station

Is your venue wheelchair accessible?

Our entire venue is completely step free and fully accessible, including an accessible toilet.

Are you dog friendly?

Yes, we welcome well behaved dogs, as long as they remain on a lead, and not on the furniture.

Are kids allowed?

Yes, children are welcome as long as they are supervised at all times. However, we do advise that during our peak trading hours, it may not be advisable to bring the little ones along with you, for your/their own comfort.
